Under the inspired leadership of Elizabeth Patterson, the choir has achieved musical expertise and international renown. Since 1988, Elizabeth Patterson has guided the choir on multiple international and domestic tours, from San Francisco to New York, from London to Venice, Prague, Moscow and Siberia.  Through her interpretive vision, and because of her commitment to performance authenticity, Ms. Patterson has been hailed as “one of America’s greatest choral conductors” American Record Guide. “Patterson’s assured and probing musicianship was spectacular,” Boston Globe.  She has also gained recognition for her extensive contribution to the world of Gregorian chant, working with Dr. Mary Berry, CBE, of the Schola Gregoriana in Cambridge, England, directing the performance of chant in concerts and recordings, and by co-authoring the book on chant, The Sound Eternal.
